edge hardware at the heart of our opporation
Having recently re-invested over £1 million in a new network located at TeleCity Manchester,
the UK's second-largest peering point for Internet traffic. Our network is monitored 24
hours a day by highly qualified and experienced engineers; and because it is new, we have
unlimited capacity.
All our equipment is housed in a secure air-conditioned environment, with back-up UPS and
generators on standby, and with diverse Internet feeds to other carriers. The modems and
routers we use are state-of-the-art Cisco equipment, running in tandem with multiple cluster
servers with CPU load balancing. Data is held on a 1000-gigabyte storage unit that is split
over a RAID disk system.
